Dear Yuletide Writer Letter 2022
Hello dear writer!
Thank you for offering one of the below fandoms! I hope you enjoy writing as much as I'm sure to enjoy reading your finished product. I don't have a lot of stylistic or writing DNWs, you can choose any narrative style, tense, point of view and play around with them all and so long as you tried I'll be over the moon because I'll be getting a fic form one of the below fandoms!! I will do my best to comment promptly on the day that assignments go out so you know how much I adored your fic!

1. MYTHIC QUEST: IAN GRIMM, POPPY LI
My past Yuletide letter for MQ is here and back then I was flip flopping on whether I wanted a romantic relationship between Poppy and Ian but since then I'm firmly in the they-are-dysfunctional-but-adorably-hilarious-couple camp. If you see them just as friends, that's totally fine too! I'm not going to push my shipping beliefs on you. I'd prefer something more Poppy-centered if that's the case though as I find Ian at his best when he's smiling at her and believing in her 100%. With MQ 'going Hollywood', how do Ian and Poppy react when a love story is implied between their on screen selves? Does it make them realize what has always been there beneath their partnership? (Can be fine if you prefer them as friends and it just hilariously grosses them out) Or maybe Poppy is not included in the Hollywood treatment and it enrages Ian more than he thought it would?

I found them so cute together and would just like a (happy) sequel where they are working it out and dating and generally being dorks in love. I hope they keep their competitive edge in their relationship and their quick banter, but that it comes from a loving place. I'll be happy with anything in this universe, it can deal with hardships and struggles (their new jobs/careers, imposter syndrome, jealousy, whatever) so long as the ending is happy.
4. MS. MARVEL: BRUNO CARRELLI, KAMALA KHAN
Here is my tumblr tag where I just yell incoherently about how I want them to hug and kiss and hold hands and give slow motion high fives forever. I have a weak spot for friends to lovers and how relationship dynamics change.

They are just the very best and clearly care about each other and Bruno KNOWS. He's there and is aware of his feelings and he thinks she's the best thing since sliced bread. Kamala is not there yet BUT we've got a secret locker letter and a while to miss her best friend while he's at Cal Tech. I'd love for Kamala to realize how much he means to her while he's gone and for him to still be head over heels crazy in love with her.
